We are producing environmentally sustainable firewood from pulled and fallen timber in our paddocks. All this timber is already in the carbon sync so whether you burn it in your fireplace or it burns in a bush fire or it just rots away over time the carbon will be released into the atmosphere. Therefore it makes a lot of sense that it should be burnt in the best fireplaces keeping you warm over winter. So replace your gas heater for a fireplace to reduce the amount of new carbon being added to the climate from the stored carbon under the ground from million of years ago. Yellow Box - hot slow burning leaving very little ash.
Iron Bark - hot slow burning leaves ash
Mountain Gum – hot medium rate burning with ash.
